Show Notes

  • The pre-show From Zero countdown song for this show was "(You Gotta) Fight for Your Right (To Party!)" by the Beastie Boys. This is a well-known Kansas City Chiefs hype song for football season. Of note, Beastie Boys are one of Mike's favorite groups of all time; he and Chester performed the song with Camp Freddy in December 2012.
  • The band changed the setlist and brought "Up From The Bottom" up to Act 1.
  • Replacing "Up From The Bottom" in Act 2 at this show was "Cut The Bridge" with the short Moscow Intro.
  • Jean Dawson guested with the band for the first time on "Castle Of Glass".
  • Mike rapped verse 2 of "When They Come For Me" over his solo medley ("When They Come For Me" / "Remember The Name").
  • Mike played the melody of "Summertime" by George Gershwin, popularized by Sublime, on the extended synth intro of "Overflow".
  • Despite being done the last few shows, there was no Control Colin bit on "Numb" for the "Numb/Encore" intro. Before the song, Mike asked Colin and he said not tonight.
  • The end of the set and encore were changed beginning with "Let You Fade", as the rotation song in Set B traditionally has been in the encore this tour. Instead, the band ended the main set with "Let You Fade", "Heavy Is The Crown", and "Bleed It Out", bringing the Set A encore of "Papercut", "In The End", and "Faint" over to this set.
  • Going along with the bit that has been going on all tour with Mike and Dave playing it, Emily played the intro of "In The End" at this show. She tried it jokingly and Mike asked, "Want to do the real thing? What's the worst that could happen?" to which she replied, "I'll try!" After Mike had the crowd chant her name, she tried the intro and mostly got it right after a false start.
  • Mike rapped verse 1 of "A Place For My Head" over the bridge of "Bleed It Out".

Other Notes

  • This show was announced on November 14, 2024 with the From Zero World Tour, exactly 27 years to the day of the band's first Xero show in 1997.
  • Before the show, Linkin Park soundchecked "Castle Of Glass" with Jean Dawson and "Unshatter".

Information (Signed Poster): Linkin Park has commissioned artist NC Winters to create artwork for a limited-edition poster for the 2025 From Zero World Tour stop in Kansas City. Signed by the band, each hand-numbered print is limited to 10 copies and is printed on 18" x 24" heavy cold press cotton rag 300gsm paper with a deckle edge.

Artist Bio: N.C. Winters is an artist working out of sunny San Marcos, California, making and selling art directly from his home studio. Winters focuses on a stream of consciousness creative process for dumping ideas out, whether it’s ink and acrylics on paper, digital, or sculpture. Winters is most interested in cultivating the wild overgrowth of nonstop imagery into original art, gig posters, sculpture, and personal work, often exploring the juxtapositions of the natural world with the man-made and the fantastical with the mundane. Winters often finds filling out artist statements and referring to himself in the third person extremely exhausting. }}
