"Cut The Bridge" is the third track from Linkin Park's eighth studio album, From Zero.

Background

"Cut The Bridge" is the longest song on the album. It was co-written with Nick Long and Bea Miller. Nick Long was the main co-writer on Blink 182's "Edging" and was the frontman for the band Dark Waves. Bea Miller is a younger pop artist and former X Factor contestant. Bea has worked with Zedd and Justin Tranter before, which may have ended up making the connection to Linkin Park as Tranter co-wrote "Heavy" from One More Light with the band.

The track features back-and-forth vocals from Mike and Emily over a steady beat, with a repeating "cut it down, cut it down down, cut it down" repeating vocal.
