'IGYEIH' is the tenth track from Linkin Park's eighth studio album, From Zero. The title is an acronym for "I gave you everything I have."

Background

'IGYEIH' was one of the last songs the band started for From Zero. Describing his writing process, Shinoda said, "usually we'll have a bunch of seeds, a bunch of demos, and then the good ones get a lot of work. A lot of craft, a lot of tweaking, a lot of changes. 'IGYEIH' was the one of the last ones to get started," to which Emily replied, "It had so many versions in such a short amount of time... It was like the last one to be on the album and we had to fucking race to get it done and we really had to speed up the process. All we were thinking about was that song." The song's working title was 'Villain.'[1]

The song was used by the NFL for their NFL Sunday Spotlight segment on November 18, 2024.[2]

Lyrics

Album Version

I give you everything I have
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
I give you everything I have
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
I give you everything I have
Yeah
I give you everything I have

I'm cracking and opened wide
Dying for one drop
Your remedies hypnotize
I never say stop

And the clock keeps ticking / The rules aren't written
I'm trying to remember how to make up my mind
And the clock keeps ticking / The rules aren't written
Forgotten doesn't mean that it's forgiven this time

I give you everything I have
All you give me is your ugliness
You're not as honest as you act
Just a devil with a god complex
I'm not the enemy
You make me out to be
And I'm so tired of this
Wishful thinking
Drowning, sinking
Left with nothing left
I give you everything I have

I write all the memories down
All over my skin
Hoping it'll snap my out
When this happen again

And the clock keeps ticking / The rules aren't written
I'm trying to remember how to make up my mind
And the clock keeps ticking / The rules aren't written
Forgotten doesn't mean that it's forgiven this time

I give you everything I have
All you give me is your ugliness
You're not as honest as you act
Just a devil with a god complex
I'm not the enemy
You make me out to be
And I'm so tired of this
Wishful thinking
Drowning, sinking
Left with nothing left
I give you everything I have
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
I give you everything I have
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
I give you everything I have

From now on I don't need you
From now on I don't need you
From now on I don't need you
From now on I don't need you
From now on I don't need you
From now on I don't need you
From now on I don't need you
From now on I don't need you
From now on I don't need you
From now on got amnesia
From now on I don't need you
From now on I don't need you
From now on I don't need you
From now on got amnesia
From now on I don't need you
From now on got amnesia
