Show Notes

  • The pre-show From Zero countdown song for this show was "My December" - the first time the band used one of their own songs for the countdown. This was in response to an online campaign (#MyDecemberInNashville) to get the song played at the show. Fans lit the arena up with their phones and sang along to the track.
  • Alex played the keys during the bridge of "Burn It Down" on Mike's keyboard.
  • The crowd chanted Emily's name after "Up From The Bottom".
  • Joe kicked off his scratching a little bit before his solo began.
  • Mike rapped verse two of "When They Come For Me" over the extended transition of the "When They Come For Me/Remember The Name" mashup. Mike continued his synth solo briefly after the song ended.
  • Colin played a new Fender guitar on Mike's solo medley, a guitar he had with him during the band's pop-up event the day before.
  • Mike performed the guitar riff from "One" by Metallica on his synth during the extended intro of "Overflow".
  • The Colin Control intro returned for "Numb" at this show, with the choice being a Johnny Cash style for the "Numb/Encore" intro. The band continued with the theme at the end of the song, jamming to the song with the country style.
  • Joe played extra samples at the end of "In The End".
  • Mike rapped verse one of "A Place For My Head" over the extended bridge of "Bleed It Out", standing on Colin's drum riser.

Other Notes

  • This show was announced on November 14, 2024 with the From Zero World Tour, exactly 27 years to the day of the band's first Xero show in 1997.
  • The band held an Ice Cream Social pop-up event at Smith & Lentz Brewing (owned by Colin's brother-in-law) the day before the show, with proceeds supporting the Nashville Food Project. Customers could order a From "Below" Zero Tropical "Almond Joy" Sundae and receive a raffle ticket, where two winners would receive a pair of tickets to the show each. Mike and Colin both showed up at the event for an hour or so and met fans.

Artist Bio: Yogyakarta based Artist, Laksamana Ryo a.k.a Ryol has been focusing his skills in visual art, especially pop culture visual art. Originally a musician‑wannabe, Ryol turned his passion into a pop culture visual artist with his childhood background as the biggest influence. Thanks to the parents and Sunday’s cartoon TV programs for being the ‘early stage’ that unconsciously had transformed him as an artist with freedom and responsibility during creating his works.

Ryol’s evolution into a pop culture visual artist lets him know the vision and the biggest dream he has. Painting is his lifetime’s job. He never wants to end it. And still has a big dream to become an artist who left a trace of history in his era.
