Show Notes
- Chester screamed "San Jose!" during the guitar solo of "What I've Done". Mike played a piano outro transition that led into the Long Intro of "No More Sorrow".
- Mike's keyboard experienced issues throughout the first half of the show, seeming to throw him off during "Jornada Del Muerto" and causing him to mess up a bit. Brad's part on "Waiting For The End" on his keyboard seemed to be a little off at times, too.
- Joe teased some samples of "Blackout" early to start the song. Before the song, Mike thanked the crowd for singing along to the new music as well as the old stuff.
- After the outro of "Numb", Mike told Dylan to hold off on starting the click track for "Iridescent" because his keyboard broke. While another one of Mike's keyboards was brought out, Brad started playing the guitar part to "Iridescent" and Chester got the crowd involved in singing the final chorus two times while Joe continued playing with the Oppenheimer samples and Rob played his tambourine. Chester also talked about fans telling him at the M&G that they haven't been back since "like 20-fucking-02" (LPL note: really 2004). Mike commented afterwards, "I don't think it's a secret that the keyboard's fucked up. Usually we just try to play this shit off, but they're grabbing another one and we'll be ready to go. Thanks for bearing with us. That's what I like about you guys, you're so patient."
- The band decided to play "The Messenger" after the "Iridescent" sing-a-long, Chester joking "Since technology has failed us, we're going to go back to old-school and play a wooden instrument that never breaks," to which Mike quipped, "unless you decide to break it!" Chester continued, "We weren't going to play this song tonight, but apparently it wants to be played." A new keyboard was ready to go for Mike after the song, who commented that it was a bit busted up (from damage earlier in the tour) but it would work. The set then continued on with "Iridescent" like planned, but "Wisdom, Justice, And Love" was dropped. After the song, Chester said, "I think you guys sang that song louder than any crowd we've ever played for!"
- Joe missed a few samples during "Shadow Of The Day".
- During the extended bridge of "Bleed It Out", Mike rapped verse 1 of "A Place For My Head" followed by Chester singing the bridge.
Other Notes
- Before the show, Live 105 held and webcasted a "press conference" backstage which involved Brad and Chester meeting with fans that had won a contest to meet the band.
