Background
The remix was created by Joe Hahn, who was credited on the album as Chairman Hahn, with guitars by Mike Shinoda, and features a verse by rapper Aceyalone. Questioned about the nickname, Joe said, "Oh, that was when we were kinda messing around on the Reanimation record. Everything was about remixing and rearranging sounds. If you look at the title sequence, all the titles are spelled incorrectly. For that record, we were just goofing around."[1]
Joe talked to MTV about how the remix came together: "I just gutted the whole song and made a new song out of it. Same vocals, but all the instruments are a lot different."[2]
The album credits list the song being recorded at "The Stockroom", a name the band gave to Mike Shinoda's home studio, and at Joe's parents' house.
Music Video
The music video for "Wth>You" was directed, co-produced (with Brandon Halverson), and edited by Ryan Thompson for MTV2's "MTV:Playback". The director had previously worked on "In The End" as a visual effects producer.[3]
Villains was the production company responsible for the video. Todd Kirschner was the director of photography, and Jessica Robins the technical director of visual effects.[4]
The video consisted of footage of Californian Linkin Park fans, some being from the LP Underground (Linkin Park's fan club). Two people from LP's crew can be seen in the video as well. A making of was released through LPUnderground.com but it's no longer available.
MTV: Playback was originally aired on July 27, 2002 at 2:00pm, with a rerun on July 28, 2002 at 8:00pm.[5]

Live
"Wth>You" has never been performed live in its entirety. However, during the Meteora touring cycle, the band would often perform parts of the song during "With You", most prominently during the intro and verses.
