- This show was announced on November 14, 2024 with the From Zero World Tour, exactly 27 years to the day of the band's first Xero show in 1997.
- It was canceled on March 27, 2025 alongside the release of "Up From The Bottom" and the announcement of the From Zero (Deluxe Edition) due to the South American Tour being rerouted. The venue for the show was never confirmed by the band, although Spotify posted venues for the entire South American Tour in December 2024 before they were taken down. Tickets were never put on sale for the show. It joined Porto Alegre as being canceled as well. Linkin Park last performed in Río de Janeiro in October 2012 with two shows.
