• Before "The Little Things Give You Away" Chester briefly talked about how the band's trip to New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina inspired the band to write the song.
• The band brought out a kid called Dan from the Make A Wish Foundation on stage for "The Little Things Give You Away."

• The Smashing Pumpkins performed after Linkin Park.
• Warner Music Group denied the festival permission to have Linkin Park shown on TV live or webcast live for this show, similar to what happened to the Rock am Ring and Download 2007 performances.
• At the Linkin Park Underground Meet & Greet before the show, a fan asked the band if they had ever performed Hybrid Theory EP songs "Carousel" and "Part Of Me" live and the band said that they performed them in the "early days."
