Game Of Death Interlude

From Linkinpedia

""Game Of Death Interlude" was a live show interlude performed by Linkin Park during the Hybrid Theory touring cycle in 2001.

The three main interludes for the band in 2001 were the "Lee Interlude", "Short Interlude", and "Falling Down Interlude." This fourth interlude was rarely used during the live show. It is not officially-titled by Linkin Park, unlike the other three, and is a name given by fans due to the sample coming from Bruce Lee's Game Of Death 1978 film.

Background

Joe scratched the "Game Of Death Interlude" from his "Tasty Gas Station Breaks From The Orient" vinyl. This is the main sample used in the intro of the "It's Goin' Down" demo.

Live

The interlude was played at several 2001 shows, most notably at Rock am Ring 2001 before "One Step Closer."

Lyrics

I knew I was being threatened
Do you think it's worth holding out?
I mean I've heard some pretty ugly things about those guys
Ugly stories!
