- The band practiced a few of the deeper cuts off of the STP albums that they were preparing to play on their upcoming USA tour. "Sex & Violence" was played for the first time since October 3, 2000 and "Pop's Love Suicide" was played for the first time since April 18, 1997.
- This was the first time Chester sang "Sex & Violence", "Pop's Love Suicide", "Piece Of Pie", and "Church On Tuesday" with the band.

- On August 26, 2013, Stone Temple Pilots posted on their Facebook page, "We are giving 10 fans the chance to attend our rehearsal on September 1st in Los Angeles, CA before we head out on our US tour! If you are interested, please send your name, contact number, and social media account links (Twitter/Facebook/Instagram/YouTube) to STPrehearsalcontest@gmail.com. If you are chosen, the full details will be provided to you. Please note, transportation will not be provided." In the end, around 30 people were in attendance to witness the rehearsal and meet the band, including a few LPU'ers that luckily won their way in via the STP contest.
