• Mike rapped verse two of "Until It Breaks" over the intro to "Waiting For The End".
• Mike and Chester sang part of the lyrics to "Numb/Encore" over the outro of "Numb".
• Before "Tinfoil", Mike came out and thanked the fans for the warm reception that the band had received in South Africa and expressed sympathy for the fans that were injured in the Cape Town accident a few days before.
• Bleed It Out featured the Beastie Boys' Sabotage bridge.
