Show Notes
- On "Believe Me", Tak kneeled down with his hand over his face for dramatic effect, causing Mike to say, "Come on Tak, here's the drama. Get out your raincoats, get out your umbrellas", referring to the rain samples at the start of the song.
- Eric Bobo of Cypress Hill was not present to play drums on "Believe Me" but his drum parts were sampled on the song and played throughout the track.
- On the intro of "High Road", Mike was standing by Cheapshot and played the piano parts on the intro with his hands, saying, "You've heard of air guitar? This is air piano, I'm just playing air piano. Beat's playing real drums though" (referring to Beatdown on drums). Mike mentioned John Legend is on the studio version of the song.
Other Notes
- On February 25, 2006, MTV Overdrive posted live videos of Fort Minor performing four songs to their website. The videos were US-only. Until December 2025, it was assumed that the performance took place in January 2006 at the band's rehearsal studio (Third Encore) in Los Angeles. The date and venue were confirmed to LPLive in 2025, occurring on the release day of the album in New York City.
- Our previous setlist of this show was: "Remember The Name", "Petrified, "High Road", and "Believe Me". When the video rip circulated from community member radq in 2025, he presented the rip as one file which was either from playing the videos back-to-back in order or from streaming a full show video. There are cuts between the songs, so we will likely never know what the true order of the set was, but we adjusted the order in 2025.
Sources:
- Time: 15:35 mins
- Format: Originally in ASF; the rip is in .MKV / 0.9 GB
- Taper: radq
- Comments: Aired on MTV.com/Overdrive by letting fans stream the songs. The video was locked with a DRM file, which expired sometime after 2009. Therefore, most circulating downloads of the video were not viewable any longer because the DRM could no longer access that part of MTV.com. LPLive luckily had an audio rip of the performance from 2006 which was used to start a search in 2021 for the video files. LPTimes in 2006 shared videos that were widely circulated, but no one was able to come forth with the videos. In 2025, community member radq shared a video rip on LP-Bits, bringing the long search to an end.
