- An announcement on Linkin Park's website the day of the show read, "GERMANY SHOW TONIGHT CANCELED: Due to the tragedy in the US, the LP show tonight (9/11) has been cancelled. REST OF TOUR UNCHANGED: The rest of the European tour should go on as scheduled. Opening acts for the next few shows include Dilated Peoples, Adema, and Puddle of Mudd."
- The makeup show for this cancellation was officially the Hamburg date of the LP Underground Tour on February 27, 2003. Fans could exchange their physical tickets from this show for that one.
- The concert was not canceled until around 7:00pm when members of the crew came out to explain to fans in German and English what had happened. Linkin Park came out and met fans and signed autographs as well, with Mike and Chester staying until every fan had left.
