"Inception Intro" is a new live show intro debuted by Linkin Park at their comeback show on September 5, 2024 in Burbank, California. At the show, the intro opened the concert was one of two new intros debuted, the other being "Resolution Intro A."
The mashup-style intro features parts of a handful of Linkin Park songs: samples from "The Requiem" (the "Waiting For The End" piano and the "Jornada Del Muerto" pinging), "The Catalyst", "Somewhere I Belong'', "Foreword", "In The End", and "Numb."
The end samples of 'In The End' and 'Numb' are taken from the band's From Zero World Tour trailer on YouTube. Coming in at just over two and a half minutes, the intro kicks into a brief full band instrumental before it segues into "The Emptiness Machine."
The beginning sample of the intro is unknown and could be from the band's new album From Zero.
Inception Intro A
"Inception Intro A", the version debuted in Burbank and used at the band's first comeback arena show in Los Angeles on September 11, 2024, featured headily edited vocals from "Castle Of Glass" throughout the intro.
This concert also debuted a third new intro, titled "Creation Intro" that followed the same style as "Inception" and "Resolution" with sampled vocals from the same song - "Castle Of Glass" in Set A.
Inception Intro C
"Inception Intro C" was debuted at the band's second arena show, in Brooklyn, New York on September 16, 2024. The vocals from "Castle Of Glass" were swapped out with edited vocals from "Burn It Down", a change that was made to the other intros/interludes in the show as well that had vocals - "Creation Intro" and "Resolution Intro."
Through the first three shows, there has been no appearance of "Inception Intro B" yet.
