Background
"[Riff Raff]" is a voicemail left on Mike Shinoda's answering machine by the DJ Riff Raff, who had previously joined the band on stage to perform "It's Goin' Down" on February 8, 2002 at the Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, New York. Even though Riff Raff didn't work on any remixes for Reanimation, the recording was used as an interlude on the album.
Music Video
The music video for "[Riff Raff]" was directed for MTV2's "MTV:Playback" by Joe Hahn.
MTV: Playback was originally aired on July 27, 2002 at 2:00pm, with a rerun on July 28, 2002 at 8:00pm.[1]

Next message:
Hey Mike, what's up?
This is Ron, just asking to see what's happenin'
Uh just touchin' base, see how your Easter went.
Umm, Just seein' if you gonna see Joe sometime soon too,
Cuz he's got my keyboard that I've been trying to get back.
I've been trying to call him, and he hasn't returned any messages.
So I'm seeing what's the best angle to, uh get it back.
