Background

"Program" is an instrumental demo created in 2001, while Linkin Park was working on songs for their second studio album, Meteora. Part of it can be heard on the chapter "The Future" of the Frat Party At The Pankake Festival DVD and again in The Making Of Meteora DVD.

In November 2011, the demo was released on the LP Underground Eleven CD. On the booklet, Mike Shinoda wrote: "This Meteora demo has some cool sounds in it, which are in stark contrast to the bludgeoning guitar riffs. Definitely a Meteora-era demo."
