The track was originally released on the 1976 compilation, The Best of Godzilla 1954-1975, by Akira Ifukube under the track title "UFO Approaches/Monsters Fight FX/Monster Battle March (from the Movie "Invasion of the Astro-Monster")."
Linkin Park used "Monster Zero March" as the pre-show song before going on stage at the second night of the Tokyo 2025 concert on February 12, 2025. The song was played over the PA loudly and lights went down for the band's intro as soon as it ended.
