Collapse Transition

From Linkinpedia

"Collapse Transition" is a transition in Linkin Park's From Zero World Tour in the middle of the band's 360 degree show to allow time for the band to take a break and for the crew to swap the sides of the stage for the band's instruments. Linkin Park's show stage featured three members on each side - Joe, Emily, and Colin on one side, with Mike, Phoenix, and Alex on the other. While members roamed the stage during the show, the actual instrument setups switch sides during this transition.

There is a vinyl cracking sound over a quiet ambient noise during the transition, which takes around three minutes to complete. It segues directly into Mike's piano part on "Lost", which opens the third act (and second half) of the show.

The transition was first hinted at by Mike Shinoda in Linkin Park's one-hour interview with Zane Lowe the day after the band's surprise comeback. He mentioned that halfway through the show, the band would have an interlude and would switch sides on stage.
