Background

"Redeemed", the closing track of The Snax' final album, was originally written and performed by Tim Yee,[1] a UCLA (where Dave Farrell studied philosophy) student who also pastored at Bel Air Presbyterian Church in Los Angeles at the time.

The song was also covered by Shine Like Stars on their 2008 album See You There[2]

Album Version

I've been redeemed,
I've been redeemed,
Washed and cleaned,
I've been redeemed

He lifts me up,
He lifts me up,
He fills my cup,
He lifts me up

Sing hallelujah,
Sing hallelujah,
Sing hallelujah,
Christ is lord

We have new life,
We have new life,
He heals our strife,
We have new life

Sing hallelujah,
Sing hallelujah,
Sing hallelujah,
Christ is lord

Sing hallelujah,
Sing hallelujah,
Sing hallelujah,
Christ is lord

I've been redeemed,
I've been redeemed,
Been washed and cleaned,
I've been redeemed
I've been redeemed
I've been redeemed
