Brad played a bit of improv on the second verse of "Somewhere I Belong", something he had done at other times on the tour at varying points - like on the intro of the song in Auckland.
On the intro of "Papercut", Mike said, "So courtesy of YouTube, I found out when Chester broke his wrist. It was about at this point in the set. Chester, you want to show 'em your little red cast?" Chester said, "It's nothing but a rock and roll show man." Mike continued, "And this guy broke his fucking wrist like four or five songs in and played the whole show with a broken wrist. And plans to play the rest of the tour with a broken wrist, although I'm sure he'd like to do it otherwise. And he does it for you, let's go!" The crowd chanted Chester's name on the intro when Mike mentioned he played the show with a broken wrist.
On the bridge of "Papercut", Chester screamed one of the "why" vocals like he did during the Meteora touring cycle.
Mike rapped verse two of "Petrified" over the intro of "Points Of Authority". Brad did not come in at his usual time on guitar on the intro.
After "Points Of Authority", Mike said, "So this is the first time we've played in Perth." Chester said, "We're sorry it took so long. We won't take so long next time." Referencing the next song, "Shadow Of The Day", Mike added, "But what a nicer time to play than to be able to come out here and play you guys our new single in-person. It's brand new. We've got a video directed by Mr. Hahn coming out right now too. This is how it goes."
Chester resumed playing guitar on "Shadow Of The Day" at this show only three days after he broke his wrist. After the song, Mike said, "Hey make some noise for Chester, that's the first time he's been able to play guitar since he broke his hand. He got a new cast, that's why!" Chester said, "Streamliner!"
"Bleed It Out" and "One Step Closer" were swapped in the setlist at this show, and remained in this order for every following show that used "Set B" (this includes both the Australian and Asian tours).
Comments: "Cure For The Itch" only. Same mix as Source 0a but slight editing done (fade-in, fade-out, etc). Released on the Hybrid Theory - Live Around The World album.
