Background
On March 25, Mike Posner announced the release of his new single, titled "Home": "I’m doing it...you guys have been asking for new music and here it is. The first step is take on step. “Home” is that first step, pre-save / pre-order now!!"[1] Mike Shinoda shared the teaser on his Instagram stories with the caption: "Excited for you to hear this new song I made with @mikeposner" This is his 3rd collaboration with Posner, following "Prince Akeem" and "God's Lottery", both released in Posner's 2019 album Keep Going.
