- This was a show for a UCLA frat party. According to Jeff Blue's "One Step Closer: From Xero to #1: Becoming Linkin Park" book, the performance went so bad they "cleared a party with a free keg" within four minutes.
- In the unauthorized documentary "Conspiracy Theory", Mike Giangreco (Brad's boss at The Roxy and Whisky A Go Go) recalls the band used to borrow his sound systems for free to play at frat parties. The only condition was that they'd carry everything themselves and put them back in his garage afterwards.
