"The Endless Highway"
Song by Grey Daze
Live debut:January 22, 1994

"The Endless Highway" is an unreleased song by Grey Daze.

Background

The original instrumental idea for "The Endless Highway" was written with guitarist Steve Mitchell[1] before Chester Bennington joined the band, thus, before the Wake Me sessions and wasn't considered for the album.

There's no known studio recording of the song, but an early rehearsal recording of the band playing an instrumental version of it exists.[2] A live recording of the song from Grey Daze's ("Gray Daze" at the time) debut show also exists and was obtained by LPLive member LESTAT from Jonathan Krause in July 2015 and released for free download.[3]

Live

"The Endless Highway" debuted at the band's very first live performance, which happened on January 22, 1994 at the Thunder & Lightning Bar & Grill in Scottsdale, Arizona.
