After a very lengthy search of L.A.-area record stores and the Internet, we have now obtained the Rapology 12 CD, and we're happy to offer you a download of it featuring the never-before heard Xero track 'Closing'!

'Closing' seems to be at this point one of the earliest Linkin Park-related songs ever released. Rapology 12 was released in 1998, coming after the 1997 Xero tape and after the band's development deal with Zomba Music which made it possible for the band to acquire better recording equipment for this and future songs.

'Closing' takes its name from the fact that it is nothing but an outro to the Rapology disc. Although we hear "Kenji and DJ Artofficial representing Xero" during the whispered intro, the sole rap verse of this little song likely features backing vocals by Mark Wakefield with possibly Brad Delson's characteristic guitar playing under it. Rob Bourdon however seems to be absent from the track as we hear programmed drums in it.

The album art, created by Mike Shinoda, features an emcee who was later reinvented for the artwork of Rapology 16 along with the other characters created by Shinoda for the series.
