"Inside Of Me" is a song which Chester says is "pretty straightforward" as there is no question as to what the song is about.[1]

Many songs on Out Of Ashes deal with Chester's relationship with his second wife, Talinda Ann Bentley. He says that "Inside Of Me" also, in a way, relates to the theme, "even ‘Inside of Me’ is me needing to be with her when I was out there losing my fucking mind and she was 600 miles away."[2][3][4]

At the next show in Hamburg, "Inside Of Me" was given a new intro. When the band played at KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas, "Inside Of Me" was moved up in the set to after "Let Down". Once the band started their 2010 Asian tour, "Inside Of Me" was moved up to the second spot in the set, after "Fire", where it remained throughout the Asian and European tours.
