Background

Mike Shinoda met Matt Heafy when their bands performed at Greenfield 2014.[1] Linkin Park performed on June 12th and Trivium played the following day.

When Mike set up his Twitch account in early 2020, Matt reached out to him and offered to help if he ever had any questions. A few months later he invited Mike to create music together.[2]
