I think Mike worked in a studio in Prague one day, like in the country side. This one was recorded, this demo was partly recorded in Berlin. And just starting to move around different studios gave the album A Thousand Suns a really collective vibe."''

Background

"Malathion+Tritonus" was a demo created in 2008 during the A Thousand Suns sessions and has no bass whatsoever. It was released in November 2014 on the LP Underground XIV CD. "Malathion" has been theorized to be the actual title of the song, while "Tritonus" references the studio where this version was recorded.[1]

On the LPU exclusive video "Track By Track With Brad - 1", released on January 23, 2015, Brad Delson said: "Ok, so this one is called "Malathion+Tritonus". I think Mike worked in a studio in Prague one day, like in the country side. This one was recorded, this demo was partly recorded in Berlin. And just starting to move around different studios gave the album A Thousand Suns a really collective vibe."

On Linkin Park's European Tour in June 2008, the band used days off between shows to record music at two different locations in Europe. One was Sono Records Studio in Nouzov, Czech Republic[2][3] and the other was Tritonus in Berlin, Germany, both of which are mentioned in the A Thousand Suns booklet. This demo was recorded in Berlin.
