"Bubbles" is a cookie song from the LP Underground 8.0 CD, named Sweet Hamster Like Jewels From America!. All songs on the CD were written by Chester Bennington and Mike Shinoda and attributed to a fictional group called "MMM...Cookies".

Background

The concept of a cookie song was explained by Mike in the official Linkin Park forums in December 2008: "Working on a song for an album is sometimes a lot of work, and occasionally we need some time to unwind. When Chester and I unwind, sometimes we make another kind of lighter, fun song. We call these songs "cookies." I think came from the idea that you get your dessert (your cookies) after you eat all the rest of your meal."[1]

Album Version

A-one, two, three four

Bubbles, bubbles
I wish my name was bubbles, bubbles
I wish my friends were bubbles, bubbles
I ride my car on bubbles, bubbles
I go real far on bubbles
On bubbles

Bubbles, bubbles
I blow a lot of bubbles, bubbles
I show a lot of bubbles, bubbles
I ride a plane on bubbles, bubbles
I go insane on bubbles
On bubbles

'Cause it's a B and a U
And a B and a B and an L
And an E and an S

It's a B and a U
And a B and a B and an L
And an E and an S
And an S

Oh bubbles, oh bubbles
I wish my name was bubbles, bubbles
I wish my friends were bubbles, and bubbles
I ride my car on bubbles, on bubbles
I go real far on bubbles
My bubbles
Me
