White Noise

Template:Infobox single "White Noise" is the first track on the soundtrack album Mall by Chester Bennington, Dave Farrell, Joe Hahn, Mike Shinoda & Alec Puro. It was released as a digital single through Linkin Park's official website on October 17, 2014.

Background

It's unknown when exactly "White Noise" was started, but the lyrics of the song can be seen during the The Hunting Party album trailer.

The band worked on the soundtrack for Joe's film Mall with Alec Puro from 2012 to 2013. Mike Shinoda started to mix the soundtrack for a release in October 2014, while Linkin Park was touring in Brazil, and "White Noise" was released for free download on October 17, 2014 on Linkin Park's official website.

"White Noise" is the only song on the film which didn't have its title changed for the album.
