One Way Ticket

Template:Infobox song "One Way Ticket" is the eleventh track on the album Ambitions by One Ok Rock. The song was produced by CJ Baran with additional production by Mike Shinoda of Linkin Park. It was recorded in Japanese and English versions.

Background

On August 8, 2016, Taka went to Linkin Park's studio in Los Angeles^[1] after One Ok Rock had finished recording their new album. He played the entire album for the band and Mike Shinoda really liked a song called "One Way Ticket". Taka then suggested Mike could help with the production if he wanted and he enjoyed the idea.^[2] Taka said, “I was introduced to Mike Shinoda and the other members. I said, I’m such a huge fan of Linkin Park, and I’m doing a rock band in Japan. If you guys are coming to Japan, we should do a tour - in Japan, or the United States. He said, yeah, I’m working on that actually!’ He was so kind and smart. He explained to me a lot of things, like what a rock band is. I was impressed by his thinking.”^[3]

"One Way Ticket" was included in One Ok Rock's eighth studio album, Ambitions, which was released in January 2017 both in Japanese and English versions, each with a different tracklisting. The song was produced by CJ Baran with Mike Shinoda credited for additional production.
